Everest Base Camp Trek

The Everest region or Khumbu, is one of the finest in the Himalayas.This valley, rich cultural variety of its Buddhist monasteries, you will, certainly one of the most beautiful Himalayan landscapes, with this concentration of high peaks in EBC !

The snowy peaks silently watching the multitude of these villages Sherpas who égrainent throughout these trails, like those that led to the base camp of Everest.

In many of these villages, as Tyangboche or Khumjung, one will find very much influenced by Buddhist monasteries Sherpa tradition, and who revere Padmasambhava, who was the first to introduce Buddhism to Tibet and throughout the Himalayas.

The trek to Base Camp of Everest, remains one of the most beautiful treks in Nepal, according to experienced hikers!

  • Day 1

    Arrival and transfer to hotel (1350m)

  • Day 2

    Arrival in Kathmandu. You will be met, greeted and transported to the hotel.

    Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) to Phakding (2610m).

  • Day 3

    In the morning, take a spectacular 40-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla - 2840 meters in the Khumbu region of Eastern Nepal - providing unforgettable views of the terraced landscape and river valleys below, as well as up-close perspectives of some of the world's highest mountains followed by a trip to Phakding (2610m). After an easy afternoon's scenic walk, set up camp for an overnight stay Phakding. Overnight Accommodations : Tea house
    Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

  • Day 4

    Walking through the magnificent forests of rhododendron, ending your nature-filled journey at Namche Bazaar (7 hrs from Phakding). While passing this long and often-steep passage, experience both the serenity and scenery of blue pine forests, firs, and junipers - all serving as the foreground to the beautiful backsplash that is Mount Everest .

    Day of Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar (3440m)

  • Day 5

    Enjoy the beauty of Namche's quaint village as well as the friendliness and hospitality of its local people. Trekkers may also visit the local museum containing exhibits displaying the area's native flora and fauna as well as the history of the Mount Everest region. Overnight Accommodations : Tea house /hotel/Guesthouse

    Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860 meters)

  • Day 6

    Participants begin their trek with awe-inspiring, unforgettable views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse , Cholatse, Kantega, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. This stretch of the trek (approximately 3 hours) is quite an easy walk from Namche to Phunki, followed by a three-hour ascent towards Tengboche. Overnight Accommodations : Tea house

    Tengboche to Pheriche (4240m)

  • Day 7

    Journey towards Pheriche and trek through forests filled with of a variety of lush trees - birch, conifers and rhododendron. This picturesque trail dips down to Debuche, crossing the Imja River before climbing up to Pheriche.

    Day of Acclimatization in Pheriche (4240m)

  • Day 8

    Acclimatize for trekking. Follow the invaluable suggestions/advice of guides while taking short journeys to Dingboche and Chhukung while simultaneously experiencing the various but beautiful views of Himalayas. Overnight Accommodations : Tea house/Guesthouse

    Pheriche to Lobuje (4940m.)

  • Day 9

    Continuation of ascent, climbing up to the terminal debris of Khumbu Glacier - crossing the row of stone monuments

    Lobuche to Gorak Shep to Kala Pathar (5550m)

  • Day 10

    Enduring a climb of approximately two (2) hours to arrive at Gorak Shep where you are treated to yet another beautiful view of Mt. Everest and Pumori - reaching Kala Pathar (within two hours of trekking). Once observing one of the most up-close and formidable views of Mt. Everest from Kala Patthar, return back to Gorak Shep for an overnight stay.

    Gorak Shep to Lobuje (4940m.)

  • Day 11

    Walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to the Everest Base Camp (5380m) - the closest destination reachable without proper mountain-climbing equipment. Here, enjoy the spectacular view of the Khumbu Icefall from the world-renowned Mount Everest Base Camp before descending to Lobuje. Overnight Accommodations : Tea house

    Lobuje to Pangboche (3940m)

  • Day 12

    Enjoy a gentle, view-filled descent from Lobuje to Dingboche Overnight Accommodations : Tea house

    Pangboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

  • Day 13

    Further return-descent to Namche Bazaar - once again traversing the beautiful, prismatic forests of blue pine and rhododendron. Overnight Accommodations : Tea house / Guest house/Hotel

    Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2840m)

  • Day 14

    An easy walk down to Lulka for the final night's stay in the Khumbu region - participants can explore Lukla, a rapidly changing portion of the Himalayas. Overnight Accommodations : Tea house/hotel/guest house

    Lukla to Kathmandu (1350m)

  • Day 15

    Take a return flight from Lukla to Kathmandu where participants can kick up their feet and relax at a hotel; taking time to reflect on the journey behind them Overnight Accommodations : Hotel

    Transfer to airport, departure on your own destination.

  • Day 16

Whats included

  • All arrival and departure transfer services to and from Airport both Domestic and International with other necessary surface transport as per itinerary.
  • Assistance at the International airport by our representative while arriving and departing.
  • Three nights accommodations at tourist class hotels in Kathmandu on B/B basis.
  • Necessary staffs including experienced climbing and trekking guides and porters during the trekking and climbing.
  • Flight Tickets for sector to all climbing member and Staff.
  • Necessary trekking and camping equipment
  • 3 meals a day (Breakfasts, Lunch and Dinners with tea or coffee) along with available accommodation at Hotel/Lodge/Guest Houses or tents for members and staffs during trek and climbing in twin sharing basis.
  • Per person 25 kg baggage allowance during trekking-up carrying by porter
  • Trekking Permit (National Park entry fee) and TIMS card (Trekking Information Management System)
  • All Necessary Climbing Permits.
  • All wages, equipments, medical and accidental Insurances for all involved staffs.
  • First Aid medical kits for the Group and the staffs.
  • Appropriate food for high altitude and all climbing crew at base camp and above as required.
  • All necessary paper works, office Service charge and Government Taxes levied in Nepal
  • Complete pre-departure information, flight ticket reconfirmation and visa extension procedure services (if necessary)
  • Welcome and Farewell Dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant with domestic culture show in Kathmandu.

  • Oxygen Cylinders, Masks, Hoses and Regulators. Though INT will provide the same, usage of Oxygen Cylinders, Masks, Hoses and Regulators will be charged extra
